Psychiatric Wellness Center is hiring a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our growing practice. The position can be 16 to 40 hours. The child and adolescent prescriber will perform comprehensive evaluations, follow up visits and prescribe psychiatric medication in a safe and appropriate manner to the child and adolescent populations. We encourage you to review our website for policies and procedures prior to applying. We specialize in: Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Women’s Health, Eating Disorders and mood disorders. Our practice utilizes holistic counseling and alternative therapies when appropriate. We have an in house yoga studio set in a peaceful part of Bedford.

Requirements:

-Masters degree from accredited school or medical degree

-Active DEA license

-Active license in New Hampshire in good standing

-Strong ability to work independently

- Work closely with the child/adolescent populations

-Must stay up to date on continuing education

-Able to manage stressful situations reasonably

-Calm and compassionate demeanor

-Must be able to navigate Electronic Medical record and keep all documentation up to date

-Must be able to wait for credentialing process to be completed before starting

-Maintains open and healthy communication in the workplace

-Able to pass background check and provide at least 3 professional referrals

-Up to date CPR certification

-Able to work in USA



Experience:

-Prescribing post licensure: 3 years (Required)
