Quality Assurance Specialist (Remote)

Team goal: provide a high load trading platform to a large financial corporation.

Product description: trading platform with microservices backend architecture based on messaging; features of the platform include: Web frontend and Mobile frontend with Charts, Trading Core, Product management modules.

Tasks

Position goal: Regular regression testing for each major release (once/twice a month). Testing of new features and confirmation for defect fixes.

Requirements

• Experience being involved in at least 3-4 large-scale projects
• Backend testing experience (api + bd) (Postman/Swagger, SQL, PowerShell, cmd)
• Experience in testing on mobile applications with additional tools (fiddler, crashlytics, adb), knowledge of mobile special checks, as well as the main problem areas in mobile applications
• Experience in testing web applications with additional tools: fiddler, dev tools, (performance/network/console)
• A clear understanding of client-server architecture (questions about which bug relates to Backend or Frontend/Mobile should not arise, on the contrary, they will be asked from you)
• Desire to work in this sphere (Trading, Exchanges, Banking sector)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve tasks flexibly (communication is horizontal, you can ask for almost any access and talk to anyone to get all the necessary data/accesses)
• Self-organization and communicativeness (often no one gives out the tasks, you need to monitor the situation yourself and prioritize the testing)
• Good self-management and responsibility for the result
• Experience in working with TeamCity (build-up, change settings, build-up deposit)
• Experience with Kubernetes (startup/restart feed level, log viewer)
