What you will do:
- Defining a roadmap for our Mobile Platform
- Lead the creation and evolution of Mobile platform solutions building new features and acquiring new products as needed
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders on project planning and investment options
- Provide technical and thought leadership in both system integration as well as application development and promote best practices in these areas
- Define and implement proofs-of-concept for proving new technologies and/or architecture patterns both at business and enterprise levels
- Maintain domain architecture and roadmaps and their alignment with the technology roadmap
- Perform design responsibilities including determining the best patterns to use for each integration scenario to gain the best performance, reusability, and maintainability
- Enhance coding standards, development guidelines, and delivery practices for efficiency
- Lead/contribute to architecture, design & code reviews
- Review internal artifacts and deliverables received from vendor partners
- Work closely with project managers and team to clearly define the scope of work and provide accurate cost/schedule estimates
- Support the technical teams during the software development life cycle from project initiation to production deployment Assist with SLA definition, analysis, and application performance tuning
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 2-5 years experience working in building world-class mobile solutions
- Experience in building Mobile solutions supporting multiple locales and languages
- Experience in implementing mobile platforms to be leveraged by many applications
- Experience with designing, developing, and implementing complex integration for end-to-end solutions at a middleware level with a focus on performance optimization
- Experience in delivering solutions in web, native and hybrid mobile
- Hands-on experience with the integration of Enterprise scalable security systems
- Hands-on experience with development operation's delivery automation and configuration for Apple and Google stores
- Strong knowledge of Web services standards (REST, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, SOAP), and transfer protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, SSH) required
- Certifications TOGAF, AWS Solution Architect, AWS Developer, AWS Security
- REST API design, development, and management
- Development: NodeJS, ReactJS, React-Native, Redux, Ionic, AngularJS
- Languages: JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, ObjectC/Swift
- Testing: Jest, Appium, Selenium
- Mobile Build Automation: BitRise
- Ability to review functional requirements and determine the type of integration work that is needed to be based on the business needs
- Technical writing and design specifications
- Knowledge of databases and networking
- Ability to quickly perform proofs-of-concept for validating new technology or approach
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem-solving techniques in a highly complex environment using leading-edge technology and/or integrating with diverse application systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and all phases of the entire software life cycle
- Strong interpersonal skills including team collaboration, leadership, presentation, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Computer Science or a related field
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team building efforts.
- Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested
