Food Safety and Quality Assurance Coordinator

What You Will Be Doing:

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that the quality of the product reaching the consumer is of the highest standards possible through continual monitoring of the processes, completing internal audits, GMP, pest control and customer complaint analysis.


Completion of daily GMP and reporting any non-conformances highlighted

Completion of the weekly pest control audit and escalating any issues through the escalation process

Daily attendance to the Performance Management meeting (T3)

Preparation of samples for laboratory testing and other testing when required

Internal Product Non-Conformance raising and escalating with the relevant stakeholders

Work in collaboration cross-functionally in the investigation and root cause analysis of non-conformances

Completion of scheduled internal audits in compliance with BRC standards


Who You Are:


Hold a degree in Food Science or related subject

Level 2 in Food Safety

Level 2 HACCP Qualification

2+ years' experience within a manufacturing (ideally food), laboratory or warehouse/logistics environment

Experience of working with a QMS and conducting audits

Shift/Hours of Work: Tuesday to Saturday - 8am - 5pm

Location: The Beehive, 1 St Georges Way, Nuneaton, CV10 7JS
