Network Security Administrator.
Responsible for the daily maintenance of a Windows network and cloud applications. Provide support for all systems and respond to escalated service requests. Monitors and responds to service and security related alerts. Documents network infrastructure, applications, and procedures. Maintains resources to ensure data availability and disaster recovery. Support installation and maintenance of network hardware and software. Assist with daily operations of MS Azure based services. Assist with daily operations of MS O365 environment
Job Responsibilities Overview
- Able to maintain MS SQL server and services
- Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis
- Monitor and investigate security incidents and alerts
- Participate in troubleshooting network outages or performance issues
- Document's infrastructure, configurations, and support procedures
- Prepares users by designing and conducting training programs
- Monitor and troubleshoot backups and replication
- Provides administration of servers, both physical and virtual, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
- Assist with managing virtualized server environments
- Monitor cloud services and respond to service issues
- Perform all Tiers of support with the ability to escalate in an efficient manner
- Document network diagrams, software configurations and other equipment
- Perform scheduled policy audits and ensure compliance
- Support Helpdesk as a Level 3 support
- Administer and maintain SharePoint environment
- Other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements
- BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent
- Working knowledge of computer networking, computer systems, Remote Access, and other associated technologies
- Ability to write documentation
- Knowledge and experience in excellent customer service practices
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with end users and vendors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Virtualization, Microsoft OS, SonicWALL, MS Azure, MS Office 365, SharePoint
