• 2 years' experience Security Incident Response
• CISSP preferred
• CEH optionally

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

• Hardware: network switches, routers, load balancers, servers, storage systems
• Operating Systems: Linux, Windows
• Network: LAN, WAN, Internet, Proxy/Filtering, Firewall, VPN, DMZ
• Network Protocols such as TCP/IP, SNMP, SMTP, NTP, DNS, LDAP, NFS, Samba, etc
• Data bases: Oracle, SQL
• Cloud platform: AWS, Azure
• Service Now
• Active Directory
• Security Incident Response
• Vulnerability Assessments
• Penetration Testing
• Security
• Best Practices Standards: ISO 27001/27002, PCI:DSS v3.2; GLBA; HIPPA/HITECH; NIST 800-53; California State Administrative Manual.
• Excellent communication, technical writing, and customer service skills

Objective & Deliverables

• To demonstrate and provide expertise in vulnerability management, compliance management, and security assurance in order to assist State Fund in the remediation of information technology security controls as a result of State Fund's audit findings.
  
  To closely work with an assigned State Fund Manager for the delivery of critical deliverables.
• To provide a team with the necessary technical knowledge and expertise to assign certified professional services to advise State Fund management on remediation and security improvement.
• To provide the transfer of knowledge to State Fund's team members.
