Automation Test Architect

Position: Automation Test Architect (FULL TIME)

Location: Charlotte, NC OR Jersey City, NJ (onsite from Jan 2023)

client- Mindtree

Roles & Responsibilities as an Architect

• 10+ years of Test Automation experience with at least 5 Years in role of Automation Architect
• Experience in creating enterprise Test automation strategy & Road map, Capacity Planning
• Contribute to the design & architecture of automation projects
• Excellent knowledge of Building and creating & maintaining Test Automation Frameworks
• Excellent in Oral, written communication & Documentation Skills
• Assist in on-going process improvement efforts to ensure test planning, execution, and reporting is effective and efficient.
• Customer Facing Experience is a must
• Should have very strong analytical skills and should be able to see the test automation architecture as a whole system and not as individual components and should be able to drive to benefit from its contents for future usage.
• Agile/Lean methodologies experience
• Promote QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices
• Lead the definition, implementation, and maintenance of standard test automation processes, methodologies, tools and templates
• Work with teams on the automation Strategy and the Tool Kit Selection
• Do Code reviews, verify coding standards are being met.
• Work with peer discipline leads in Development, QA, and Project Management
• Able to shadow developers and document the test Plan, test scripts, test scenarios etc
• Hands-on ability to automate repeated tasks and build test coverage through existing or new infrastructure
• Assess the problem statement and arrive at the innovative solutions.
• Mentor junior and senior software quality engineers.
• Experience in working with Geographically Dispersed Teams.

Primary Skills

• Expertise in Selenium Test automation
• Experience in treasury domain or capital market domain is a must.
• Excellent knowledge of web services and API test automation using Rest Assured/ SOAP UI Jars
• BDD with Cucumber
• Should be strong hands-on Core Java/ Groovy
• Knowledge in CI tools like Bamboo/ Jenkins
• Experience / knowledge in BDD based automation using Cucumber
• Experience in Database testing
• Experience in Built tools like Gradle or Maven, etc

Secondary Skills

• Experience in C# or Python will be an added advantage.
