We are looking for a Manual QA Tester/Engineer with experience in web and mobile app testing for iOS and Android to work on our webshop Bodymod. The go-to place to shop for piercing jewelry.

You might think that we dont take our business seriously, but behind our brand, we are a bunch of 70 people in a company called Blue Monkeys In Space And we are ambitious, because the sky is not the limit.

This is a full-time position to be taken in the heart of Sliema, Malta. Although we might consider applicants who are not based here yet

The skills and experience that you bring
- You have previously worked in an Agile methodology
- You have excellent attention to details, an analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- You think outside the box, and have proactive and logic reasoning
- You are vastly experienced in the QA domain and have deep understanding testing principles and artifacts
- You have valuated projects, giving spot-on feedback
- You are able to work independently and in a well-structured way
- You are a team player
- You have excellent knowledge of bug-tracking software, preferably JIRA / Trello
- Youre competent using software such as Google Workspace, Atlassian Confluence, etc.
- Youre fluent in English, both written and verbally
- You possess excellent communication skills

You are more suited for the job, if you have
- Knowledge of eCommerce business processes
- Experience with an eCommerce CMS: Magento, Presta, etc
- Competence and knowledge of Postman, GraphiQL, MySQL

A day in the job
- Work together with the Development team to deliver bullet-proof requirements, understand the proposed solution and write, update and execute test scenarios/cases ensuring full test coverage
- Reach out to other stakeholders to obtain clarifications when needed to acquire a complete understanding of the business and functional logic
- Analyze deviations between the defined and the actual functional behavior and report defects to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Escalate defects to the developers with reproducible steps, and document them in Jira / Trello
- Validate and provide feedback on compliance and usability
- Run regression testing to ensure that the eCommerce web app performs correctly
- Analyze defects and suggest ways to improve the common areas of mistakes
- Follow up and work closely with both developers and the business team to ensure the proper solving of the discovered defects
