The first contacts a guest has with our hotel, is key to drive her/him into a genuinely memorable experience. As Reservation Supervisor you deliver and manage all aspects of the customer s booking experience, from first touch until check in. You ll also create a warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in our International Luxury Hotel Brand located in Rome.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you ll mostly be:
  • Manage day-to-day departmental organisation, prioritise, plan and assign work. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to improve team member performances;
  • Ensure your reservation office delivers a great service, professional attention and personal recognition;
  • Ensure all interactions with customers, via phone, email or any other source, are handled in line with higher standards; and make time to engage with them;
  • Respond appropriately to guest requests, complaints, solicit feedback and build relationships to drive continuous improvement in guest satisfaction;
  • Engaging the team in the hotel s revenue goals, always maximising opportunities by putting in place upselling strategies and actions for both, higher room types and other revenue streams of the hotel;
  • Take responsibility in ensuring all reservations directly handled have clear billing instructions; ensure guest credit handling in compliance with hotel credit policy; ensure all transactions are handled in a secure manner;
  • Educate and train team members in compliance with national and local laws and safety regulations. Ensure staff has the tools and equipment to carry out job duties;
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Reporting to the Director of Revenue

Requirements

  • Preferred working experience in similar roles in International Luxury Hotel Brands;
  • Bachelor s degree / higher education qualification/equivalent in Hotel Management/ Business Administration, plus 3 years of Front Office or Reservation position experience;
  • Accounting and mathematics skills for accurate auditing and payment processing;
  • Senior knowledge of Opera PMS;
  • Problem-solving with strong verbal communication and good listening skills, for effective and pleasant interactions with guests and staff;
  • Customer service experience;
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and attractions of the local area;
  • Must be fluent in English & Italian language, other languages preferred;
  • Familiarity with loyalty programs;
  • Emotional intelligence skills;
  • Passion for the hospitality field and excellence in luxury service;
  • Flexibility;
  • Dedication to creating memorable experiences for our guests;
