Freight Forwarder Road, Puurs

Our client is one of the largest global players in transport and
logistics, employing more than 75 000 people in over 90 countries. They
are currently looking for a Freight Forwarder Road in Puurs, Belgium to join their team.

Tasks

As a Freight Forwarder, you will be working in DSV Road department, specialized in road transport.

Your duties will include:

• Collecting data on transport orders
• Entering transport orders into the company's own
  system
• Planning of trips
• Subcontracting transport assignments to subcontractors
• Confirming assignments to the client
• Allocation of transport assignments to drivers, depending on the priorities and available resources
• Deploying resources that have not yet been assigned to a task
• Follow up the order, both during and after execution
• Intervening if there is a risk of assignments being carried out incorrectly
• Requesting the necessary equipment
• Filling in the necessary documents to make the execution of the trip planning possible

Requirements

What do we expect from you?

• We are open to both school leavers and candidates with a first experience
• You have a good knowledge of Dutch, English (French is a plus)
• You are fluent in various IT applications (Cargowise, Excel)
