A well-known German management consultancy with over 1450 employees and currently operating in 19 different countries, is looking for a Senior Consultant to join the Reinsurance team and reinforce the "international insurance practice".

Our client offers a wide range of services such as compliance, business intelligence, finance, controlling, project and risk management, and strategic IT management just to mention a few! Their business areas? They work in many diverse fields including automotive, banking, insurance, energy, and many more. They are known for always using the most innovative technologies and carrying out the most interesting cosmopolitan projects in the international environment.

Tasks

As an expert consultant, you will accompany attractive projects on the European market. You will advise international insurance companies on all aspects of the application landscape and you will participate in the creation of IT-specific industry solutions. You will support the entire lifecycle of system modernization or implementation of state-of-the-art reinsurance platforms, including business analysis, system selection, system integration, process engineering, and design of target operating models. In addition to that, you will also design end-to-end solutions within the areas of Pricing, Data Strategy, Data Management, Underwriting, Claims Management, Technical Accounting, and Finance. Together with your team, you will analyze the "big picture" on insurance, finance, and risk architectures, and build solutions to reduce the risks and their effects. You will also share your experience and knowledge on insurance issues with your clients and customers.

Requirements

You already have several years of fun, working in management consulting or in an insurance company with a focus on insurance, reinsurance, or specialty/commercial business. You are familiar with the Agile or Waterfall methodology and willing to participate and advise on IT projects. You feel comfortable in the Insurance environment and have experience in underwriting/claims management/technical accounting/actuarial activities. Your English skills are very good, and you live already in Germany, or you are willing to move there for this outstanding opportunity. You enjoy interacting with people and helping clients to develop a vision for their future as well as advising them on the digital transformation straight ahead.
