Global Supply Chain Finance Ltd. is the world s leading financial servicing provider in the Supply Chain Finance (SCF) sector with over 30 years of experience in structuring, implementing and servicing receivables and payables-based programs. GSCF offers
innovative and cost-efficient solutions to leading banks, large suppliers and their buyers worldwide through its in-house developed SCF platform.

To support our organization in market research and sales activities, reporting directly to
the CEO, we are looking for a result-driven and experienced:

Business Development Manager

specialized in the financial service industry

Tasks

  • Analyze market trends and needs, customer needs and competitor analysis
  • Identify market trends and gain competitive intelligence
  • Support the implementation of market strategies, introduce existing and new solutions
  • Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, industries, customers,
    partnerships, or new ways of reaching existing markets
  • Create/develop client opportunities portfolio
  • Seek out appropriate contact within an organization
  • Contact potential clients and arrange business development meetings with prospective clients
  • Maintain positive business and customer relationship
  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns/initiatives
  • Prepare presentations and reports

With time, if suitable and interested, the candidate would have the opportunity to build up a small team and take over additional team management responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, motivate and develop a small team
  • Plan and manage resources
  • Ensure good distribution of know-how within the team

Requirements

  • University degree in finance
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the financial industry
  • Solid Business Development background in the credit/finance field
  • Experience in Trade/Receivables Financing
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
  • Excellent command of English (written and oral)
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the client's needs
  • Detail-oriented, analytical and able to work on multiple assignments
  • Professional, discreet and trustworthy
  • Willing to travel approximately 3-5 times per year if required
