Role : IT FIELD COORDINATOR FOR KERMIT, TX

Our client Western Midstream (WES) is seeking a Staff IT Field Coordinator to join the Information Technology organization located in Kermit, TX.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a minimum of six (6) years' experience on electronic communications and network systems. This person will work from WES office in Kermit, TX and provide IT Field Support and general computer desktop support for WES employees and WES contract personnel. Job responsibilities will include installation/upgrade/inventory/problem resolution of computer hardware, software and will include end user assistance/training, IT equipment procurement and maintenance processes. Position must use the Service-Now Help Desk ticketing system and work with outsourced Help Desk personnel. On-call and some off-hours support will be required on an as needed basis. Provide backfill vacation support for other team members in the central support area. Travel to other WES locations in the West Texas area will be required as necessary.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
Hands-on experience troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Operating systems and Office software products
Good understanding of imaging, internet, networking, telecommunications, graphics and database software
Hands-on experience in installing and troubleshooting PC hardware, applications, printers, networks, computer peripherals and option cards
Ability to work overtime/weekends and be on call as required
Driver's license and travel to other WES locations will be required
Ability to lift a few ounces up to 50 pounds.
Physical ability and flexibility to crawl under furniture to make computer connections
Responsibilities:
Interact with customer support and Enterprise Computing groups to ensure effective packaging and delivery of tools and applications (Windows and Citrix)
Develop written cost and ROI proposals for major wireless projects
Monitor telecommunication systems
Provide support for data management
Installing, configuring, and supporting computer hardware, operating systems, and applications. Includes PC hardware, peripherals, software, and IT equipment, data room equipment, cabling, printing, and replacing parts as required. Must also support the roll-out of new applications
Maintain hardware inventory of IT assets. Requisition and receive hardware assets as needed by the business and by IT policies
Monitor system performance and respond to all hardware, software, WAN & LAN inquiries by clarifying technical issues and resolving problems firsthand
Provide management with periodic status reports. Keep local assigned sites informed of upcoming activities. Keep customer base informed of changes and issues with the IT environment. Work with IT groups to stay current on changes, initiatives, problems and experiences seen across the enterprise
Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred in one of the following: Computer Science, Information Management or Information Technology
