Xero Bookkeeping Expert-Part time

Overview:
Following this prestigious firm of accountants continued growth after winning new clients they need an experienced client XERO Accounting Expert
This position requires you to be very confident in not only using Xero Accounting Software but you are experienced enough to set up new external clients onto Xero and transfer accounts from other Accounting Software systems onto Xero
You will need to be able to support client requirements in terms of training them to use Xero and resolving potential problems they may have on the transfer over to Xero
As a Bookkeeper. You need to have had at least 3 years experience working for external clients within a firm of Chartered Accountants.

This is a great opportunity to become the main point of contact within the firm for Xero questions and client support requirements as well as be a hands on Bookkeeper yourself
Requirements
Responsibilities Include:
Reporting to the head of client Bookkeeping
Preparation of VAT returns
Prepare and manage monthly account reconciliations
Liaising with banks, HMRC and client accounting contacts
Assist in preparation of month end returns
Prepare reports and reconcile accounts and bank statements
Prepare monthly memo accounts and quarterly schedules
Assist in the future with special projects including system and process implementation
Candidate Requirements:
At least 3 years client Bookkeeping experience within a firm of Accountants
VAT and CIS Experience
Strong IT knowledge Sage, Quick Books, Xero, Moss, Excel
Excellent English essential. Written and spoken
Team player with excellent communication skills
Ready to work in a fast-moving challenging environment

Requirements MUST have good, hands-on experience of Xero Accounting Software Work closely with a variety of clients from sole traders to large corporations to migrate them to Xero Training clients on Xero and help and support on Xero Use Xero, Receipt Bank, Sage, and Excel daily Ideally, you will have 5 years of experience, preferably with a firm of Accountants In-depth Excel Be a key contact for all day-to-day bookkeeping requirements Complete VAT returns for clients and gives advice when required VAT calculations on imports, exports, reverse charges Complete complex reconciliations for CIS and VAT Resolve potential client issues regarding their accounts Work closely with the accounting teams to assist on report preparation and reconciliations Produce management reports and explain figures where necessary This is a challenging and demanding position as it requires deadlines to be met and excellent quality of service
