Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Our client seeks a high-initiative Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with great communication ability to join their team in Phoenix, Arizona. This position has hybrid flexibility.

A Day in the Life of the Chief Technology Officer

As the CTO, you will help modernize this organizations tech stackand continue developing their own services. You will analyze the organizations tech structure, understand goals and objectives, assess gaps, and help drive the team forward.

Responsibilities include:

  • Use your technical competence to guide developer team
  • Navigate heterogeneous environments
  • Manage remote or hybrid activities with some international scale
  • Support existing developers through ongoing change, rallying for their respect and buy-in
  • Display social and emotional intelligence, helping tech teams find balance and communication


Requirements

  • Building Relationships & Coalitions - This is the ability to build coalitions internally and with other external groups and organizations, to achieve common goals.

Other requirements:

  • May be located anywhere in the Intermountain West within 1 hour of time zone, but be in Phoenix for 1-2 weeks at a time
  • Ability to build a solid team and apply strong leadership to keep others from overstepping or lines from getting crossed.
  • Good communicator who can establish sustainable development initiatives and build good practices
  • Proficiency in Java, AWS, and Agile methodology
  • Web accessor is designed for testing and then managing data.

Admin certification preferred Pardot Administration certification & practical experience 3-5+ years of experience administering a Salesforce org to meet business requirements Broad experiences creating automation with process/flow builder, and approval workflows Experience in conducting gap analysis on existing processes and potential alternatives Strong documentation and verbal/written communication skills
