- NITEC in Precision Engineering / SPM or equivalent
- Ability and experience to handle oil well equipment parts safely with overhead cranes.
- Demonstrate ability to interpret engineering drawings with multiple views and machining surfaces.
- Able to understand and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Able to calculate, set and modify machining parameters (speeds, feeds, depths of cuts, tapers etc.)
- Must have mastered job layout and developed proficiency on all HBM/Lathe/Turn-Mill machines.
- Proficient with application of measuring instruments, gages and measuring techniques.
