Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer

We are supporting a great, rapidly expanding renewable energy company in Bahrain; they are going to further grow in the UAE with further looks to Asia and beyond.

They are seeking an experienced Mechanical (Design) Engineer to work closely with the lead engineer to help them build and deploy their fully green sustainable unit.

The product is all within the space of a 40ft container that is completely solar powered to not only generate electricity but also being able to be deployed in any source water to convert to clean water..

Ideally, but not essentialy, this would fit ex-army / REME type person - the leadership team are themselves ex-military.

Core duties are:

* Develop mechanical designs from existing or preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets.

* Develop Process flow diagrams, P&IDs, isometrics, and GAs

* Produce mechanical/piping drawings in accordance with established guidelines and company specifications

* Oversee fabrication, testing and commissioning of company designs to international standards

* Manage site installation, hook up and commissioning of company designed systems
