This position is responsible for Business Planning (BPT) or BI Program Management (BIPM) across Amazon Japans Fulfillment Center (FC) network of over 20 locations nationwide. You will leverage data-driven approaches to lead strategic planning cost optimization and cross-functional project management to support the growth and operational excellence of the FC organization.

Team assignment
For this position we will comprehensively evaluate the candidates experience skills and aptitude during the selection process and assign them to either the BPT or BIPM team. Candidates with strengths in strategy development cost management and coordination with external vendors who wish to drive business growth from a management perspective will be assigned to BPT. Candidates with strengths in data analysis dashboard development and AI/automation who wish to solve operational challenges through technology will be assigned to BIPM.

Business Cycle Management and Strategy Development for the Entire FC Organization
- Development and promotion of mid to long-term FC growth strategies
- Budget planning and performance management
3PL Management Optimization and Cost Reduction
- Building and operating 3PL performance evaluation frameworks
- Planning and promoting measures for various price negotiations and cost minimization
- Continuous and strategic performance tracking through MBR/QBR
Design and Operation of Management Mechanisms for Organization-wide Budget Achievement
- Visualization of productivity results/forecasts and early risk detection
- Consolidation and follow-up of recovery plans
- Standardization of improvement menus
Cross-Network Program Management
- Leading projects across multiple FCs and departments
- Collaboration with diverse stakeholders

Business Intelligence & Planning Management (BIPM) Main Responsibilities
Dashboard & Reporting Development
- Requirements definition and promotion of dashboard/mechanism development in collaboration with the BI team
- Solving Operational Challenges through Data Analysis
- Proposing actionable measures utilizing Big Data
- Building performance improvement mechanisms leveraging internal and external best practices
Promoting Data Standardization through Data Mart Construction and Deployment
- Promoting projects to establish a Single Source of Truth for data across the entire FC organization
- Awareness activities and support to increase data mart usage
Promoting AI Utilization Across the Organization
- Proposing and driving projects for automation and AI replacement of existing operations using internal AI
- Fostering an AI utilization culture by disseminating AI usage methods and case studies within the organization
