Whats The Role

Sales Executive responsibilities include discovering and pursuing new sales prospects negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:

As the Sales Executive you would be responsible for discovering managing growing and retaining a portfolio of SMEs and/or government accounts. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers ensuring strong relationships satisfaction with solutions and the achievement of revenue targets through effective account planning and consultative selling of ICT Solutions. The Account Executive will work closely with internal teams to deliver customer solutions identify growth opportunities and support the execution of Vertis Technologys commercial strategy. It involves Face-to-face and remote engagements and cross/up/repeat sales to new and existing customers by delivering sales bids/proposals and presentations.


What Youll Do

  • To develop and maintain a deep understanding of Vertis Technologys portfolio of ICT solutions.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling networking and social media
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers ensuring consistent and professional engagement
  • Develop and execute account plans to meet revenue retention and growth targets through consultative selling.
  • Identify and pursue upselling crossselling and renewal opportunities within existing accounts
  • Understand customer business needs and recommend appropriate products or solutions
  • Coordinate with internal teams (sales support operations finance and Service Delivery teams) to ensure timely delivery of solutions
  • Prepare and present proposals pricing contracts and business reviews as required
  • Manage sales pipeline activities and maintain accurate customer and opportunity records in CRM systems.
  • Forecast sales performance and provide regular reporting to management.
  • Support contract negotiations and ensure compliance with commercial terms.
  • Maintain strong market and competitor awareness to identify new opportunities for account growth.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Business Marketing Sales or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in B2B sales account management or a customer-facing commercial role
  • Proven experience managing customer relationships and meeting or exceeding sales or revenue targets
  • Strong communication negotiation and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce Zoho or similar) and standard MS Office tools
  • Solid understanding of sales processes account planning and pipeline management
  • Owns and operates a reliable motor vehicle (An Asset).

A commitment to excellent customer service. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Superb interpersonal skills including the ability to build rapport with both customers quickly and suppliers. Experience using computers for a variety of tasks. Competency in Microsoft applications including word excel and outlook. Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.


Required Education:
