Business Compliance Mananger
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Business Compliance Specialist to join our team in Kingston this role you will be responsible for developing implementing and overseeing compliance programs that ensure our organization meets all applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will work collaboratively across departments to maintain a strong compliance culture while identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Develop implement and maintain comprehensive compliance policies procedures and frameworks aligned with Jamaicas regulatory environment and organizational standards
- Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to evaluate organizational adherence to legal requirements industry standards and internal policies
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and legislation; analyze their impact on business operations and communicate necessary adjustments to relevant stakeholders
- Manage compliance documentation records and reporting systems to ensure accuracy accessibility and regulatory compliance
- Identify compliance risks across the organization; perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies to senior management
- Coordinate with department heads and operational teams to ensure compliance with established policies and regulatory obligations
- Prepare and present compliance reports to executive leadership and regulatory bodies as required
- Investigate compliance violations and non-conformances; implement corrective and preventive actions
- Provide compliance training and guidance to employees to foster organizational awareness and adherence to policies
- Stay current with regulatory developments and industry best practices to continuously improve compliance programs
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in compliance management regulatory affairs or related field
- Must hold bachelors degree in Pharmacology or basic science
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing compliance programs and policies
- Strong knowledge of Jamaicas regulatory environment and applicable legal frameworks
- Proficiency in conducting compliance audits risk assessments and gap analyses
- Advanced organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements
- Proficiency with compliance management software and MS Office applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to diverse audiences
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and reporting
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Preferred: Compliance-related certification (such as Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional or equivalent)
- Preferred: Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
- Preferred: Background in financial services healthcare or regulated industries
