Composite Plybooks

Ensure a strong communication flow regarding design materials number and orientation of plies inserts cores cure cycles and manufacturing processes.

Develop 3D and 2D ply layups using NX CAD and its composite design tools including Fibersim Laminate Tools and Composite Design.

Define the appropriate cure cycles and debulking procedures for the production of automotive components in collaboration with the R&D Composite Technology Group.

Prepare compile and release plybooks for production.

Liaise effectively with internal departmentsincluding Design Production and Quality Controlas well as external suppliers.

Complete assigned tasks and provide timely feedback on work status progress and milestone achievement whenever required.

Always working in a professional manner regardless of the task set and be pro-active in promoting a positive image for the department/team/sponsors;

In line with pay transparency regulations (Legislative Decree 96/2026) the minimum fixed salary for this role is the contractual minimum set by the National Collective Labour Agreement for the Metalworking Industry (Federmeccanica/Assistal) for classification level C3. We specify that the above mentioned level is a minimum threshold and does not correspond to the overall compensation package which is determined by objective measurable and gender-neutral criteria being significantly higher than the contractual minimum indicated.

Qualifications :

Masters or Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline preferably Materials Science Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering.

Basic knowledge of software tools used to prepare and compile plybooks such as CorelDRAW.

Basic knowledge of software tools used for ply draping and layup simulation preferably Fibersim and Laminate Tools.

Basic knowledge of CAD systems preferably Siemens NX.

Good understanding of composite design and manufacturing processes particularly those involving prepreg materials.

Proactive and innovative mindset.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Strong work ethic and a hands-on approach.

Good communication skills in both Italian and English.
