About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to join the DevOps team supporting RIVO Surecomps collaborative trade finance platform used by banks and corporates around the world.

The DevOps team owns the full path from development environments to production: CI/CD pipelines cloud infrastructure on AWS container orchestration infrastructure as code observability and the security and reliability of production systems. Because Surecomp delivers both SaaS and on-premises solutions part of the work involves automation and deployment challenges in a hybrid setting.

In this role you will take ownership of real production systems in a regulated financial environment where reliability security and uptime matter to our customers. You will work closely with R&D QA Automation Security and Delivery teams and will serve as a technical focal point for infrastructure and deployment topics within the organization.

Location: Kfar Saba Israel.

Hybrid: three days a week from the office and two days from home.

Reporting to: DevOps & CloudOps Team Leader

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Build operate and secure production cloud environments on AWS.
• Develop and maintain containerized applications and services running on Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code.
• Write infrastructure automation scripts for cloud deployments.
• Build and maintain monitoring logging and alerting capabilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
• Contribute to configuration management and security practices across environments.
• Keep up to date with relevant DevOps and cloud technologies and propose improvements.

Requirements:

Knowledge and Experience

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer - Must.
• Experience with containers (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes) - Must.
• Experience writing infrastructure as code (Terraform OpenTofu or Pulumi).
• Experience building and maintaining CI pipelines (Jenkins Github Actions or equivalent).
• Experience engineering and scaling CD pipelines and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD Flux or equivalent).
• Experience operating production environments on AWS.
• Experience with observability and monitoring systems (Datadog Grafana and Prometheus or equivalent).
• Strong Linux background and solid scripting skills with Python and Bash.
• Experience with Git-based version control (Github or similar).
• Good understanding of networking storage and compute concepts.
• Familiarity with security and compliance practices in production environments.
• Professional-level English written and spoken.
