Job Summary
SENIOR CARDIAC PHYSIOLOGIST
(Senior Grade)
Full-Time Permanent Position
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the post of Senior Grade Cardiac Physiologist. This is a full-time permanent position.
The successful candidates will be excellent communicators and enjoy the challenges of working in a busy Cardiac Department rotating between the main department and the Cardiac Catheterisation Lab and possess the following skills at a minimum:
Requirements:
- Possess the Clinical Measurement Science Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) or hold an equivalent qualification
- Minimum of three years post qualification experience is required
- Previous experience at a similar level desirable
- Technical proficiency in both adult Trans-thoracic Echocardiography and/or Cath Lab procedures is desirable
- BSE Accreditation desirable
- Excellent communication/inter-personal skills and a high capacity for responsibility and individual initiative
