Job Summary

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.

We are hiring a Chief 1 Vascular Physiologists for a Hospital in Limerick Ireland. This is a Full-time Permanent position.

Responsibilities

  • Work within the scope of practice while maintaining professional standards confidentiality ethics and legislative compliance.
  • Perform daily vascular laboratory duties including patient appointments history taking report preparation record keeping and patient education.
  • Triage and prioritise patient referrals scheduling urgent and follow-up appointments as required.
  • Perform and supervise vascular diagnostic procedures interpret test results and prepare accurate clinical reports.
  • Recognise assessment limitations and escalate findings appropriately.
  • Maintain monitor and ensure the effective use of vascular laboratory equipment and resources.
  • Assess the need for new equipment and participate in equipment selection and tendering processes.
  • Ensure high standards of patient care and quality service delivery within the vascular laboratory.
  • Attend departmental multidisciplinary and professional meetings to represent the vascular service.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and efficient operation of the vascular laboratory


Requirements

  • Hold a BSc in Clinical Measurement Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) or an equivalent Level 8 scientific qualification recognised by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Science (IICMS).
  • Have a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a relevant clinical setting.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and competency across all core areas of vascular clinical measurement practice.
  • Possess strong clinical managerial and administrative skills to effectively fulfil the responsibilities of the role.
  • Excellent organisational communication and decision-making skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
