Tubular (OCTG) Inspector #SMIPHM
Job Summary
- Minimum D3/S1 in Engineering preferably Petroleum Metallurgy Mechanical or related fields with minimum 3 years of experience.
- Alternatively SMK/STM graduates with minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Tubular/OCTG manufacturing or related processes including heat treatment NDE/NDT mechanical testing thread inspection & gauging and welding.
- Familiar with OCTG products and premium connections such as VAM Tenaris Hunting Hydril API and other premium connection manufacturers.
- Good knowledge of thread inspection procedures and relevant specifications.
- Strong understanding of ISO 11960 / API Spec 5CT as well as API 5B ASTM A370 and ISO 13679.
- Hold ASNT Level II certifications in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Magnetic Particle Testing (MPI) and Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT).
- Able and willing to work in remote areas.
- Able to pass a Jaeger near-vision test.
- Good command of English both verbal and written.
- Strong professional and good interpersonal skills.
