Technical Sales Representative

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage multiple customer accounts
• Generate and act upon leads or opportunities for ReedHycalog products & report opportunities for other NOV business units
• Travel between different districts in Indonesia including wellsite locations as required
• Deliver customer presentations
• Plan and execute delivery of solutions to our customers
• Collect process and interpret client drilling information
• Generate technical proposals tender responses and other commercial documents
• Assist in tender preparations
• Generate run reports end of well reports and performance reports as required
• Maintain & report Area financials / run records as required

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Technical sales techniques
• Must have the ability to present in front of large technical audience
• Effective communication skills
• Proficiency in English
• Experience dealing with multiple cultures.
• Minimum 5 years in Oil & Gas industry
• Must be a self-motivator and possess an ability to adapt to a rapidly changing and dynamic market

Personal and Interpersonal

• Must be a determined individual with willingness to remove sales road blocks both internally and externally.
• Must be ethical and conduct business with integrity

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree

Experience:

• Working knowledge of an engineering/production environment
• Working within Sales Operations and Engineering at a strategic level and across multi-disciplines and locations

Skills training or special knowledge

• Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook)

Quality Assurance

Carry out all duties in accordance with the Quality Assurance procedures and department/area work instructions.

Contribute to general improvements in the quality and key activities of the department/area.

Training

Participate in training where required.

Health Safety and Environment

Carry out all duties safely and in accordance with the Health & Safety Policy Employee Handbook procedures training and instruction.

To be safety conscious and report any safety hazards to the HSE representative.
