ABOUT HOPESTAGE
HopeStage is a mental health company that helps clinical research teams and health innovators better understand patients and earn their trust.
We are looking for a reliable short-form video editor and content publisher for a long-term part-time remote collaboration.
THE ROLE
Every week Clément the founder of HopeStage will provide:
Seven prepared video ideas and scripts
Approximately three recorded takes per video
All raw footage and brand resources
You will not need to create the strategy ideas or scripts.
Your role is to transform the recordings into engaging short videos and manage the publishing workflow.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Video editing
Review the different takes and select the strongest footage
Combine takes when it improves the final video
Edit seven short-form videos per week
Add accurate English captions
Improve pacing framing audio and colour
Apply clean and light HopeStage branding
Create vertical platform-ready exports
Publishing and organisation
Publish content primarily on LinkedIn
Repurpose selected videos for Instagram and TikTok
Adapt short post captions from the provided scripts
Schedule and publish each video
Tag relevant people and organisations
Keep the Notion production board updated
Flag relevant comments messages and business opportunities
Provide a simple weekly performance report
Clément will personally handle qualified business conversations and sensitive mental health messages.
REQUIREMENTS
At least one year of short-form video-editing experience
A portfolio containing talking-head or founder-led videos
Strong written English
Good judgement when selecting between multiple takes
Accurate captioning and strong attention to detail
Experience publishing on LinkedIn Instagram or TikTok
Comfortable using Notion and Google Drive
Reliable communication and consistent weekly availability
A respectful approach to mental health content
We value clean editing strong pacing and reliability more than excessive effects or complicated motion graphics.
WORK ARRANGEMENT
Long-term part-time contractor role
Approximately 10 to 12 hours per week
Fully remote
Some availability overlapping with Sydney working hours
USD $400 to $600 per month depending on experience and quality
Salary review after the initial trial period
Potential for additional hours as the content system grows
PAID TEST
Shortlisted candidates will complete a paid editing test using HopeStage footage.
We will assess:
