Job Summary
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the project or facility Health Safety Security and Environment management system.
- Ensure all site activities comply with company HSE policies applicable Indonesian regulations client requirements and recognised industry practices.
- Develop and maintain project HSE plans procedures risk registers emergency response plans inspection programmes and safety campaigns.
- Lead hazard identification risk assessments Job Safety Analysis toolbox meetings permit-to-work reviews and control-of-work assurance activities.
- Conduct regular site inspections behavioural safety observations compliance audits and contractor HSE performance reviews.
- Lead investigations into incidents near misses unsafe conditions and environmental events including root-cause analysis and corrective-action follow-up.
- Monitor high-risk activities such as lifting working at height confined-space entry excavation energised work marine activities and simultaneous operations.
- Coordinate emergency response drills crisis-management exercises medical-response readiness and communication with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare HSE reports performance statistics leading and lagging indicators management presentations and required regulatory documentation.
- Coach line managers supervisors employees and contractors to strengthen safety leadership workforce engagement and a proactive reporting culture.
Salary: US$5500 to US$7000
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering Environmental Science Industrial Hygiene or a related discipline.
- Minimum 12 years of HSE experience in LNG oil and gas petrochemical offshore EPC construction commissioning or major industrial operations.
- Strong knowledge of process safety control of work incident investigation emergency response contractor HSE management and recognised HSE management systems.
- Professional certification such as AK3 Umum NEBOSH IOSH ISO 45001 Lead Auditor or an equivalent recognised qualification is preferred.
- Indonesian citizen with strong leadership investigation reporting Bahasa Indonesia and English communication skills and willingness to work on-site (Tangguh Indonesia).
