Job Summary

**Restaurant & Banquet Manager Responsibilities:**

  • Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant and banquet facilities
  • Monitor and control beverage costs and labor costs to maintain budgetary targets
  • Supervise and train restaurant and banquet staff to ensure consistent service excellence
  • Coordinate banquet events from planning through execution including setup service and breakdown
  • Maintain quality standards for food presentation service delivery and guest satisfaction
  • Manage inventory levels and ordering for restaurant and banquet supplies
  • Ensure compliance with health safety and sanitation regulations across all service areas
  • Handle guest inquiries complaints and special requests with professionalism and promptness
  • Prepare and review operational reports including revenue expenses and performance metrics
  • Schedule staff shifts and manage payroll documentation
  • Conduct regular inspections of dining areas kitchen and banquet spaces to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to optimize operational efficiency

Qualifications :

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in restaurant or hospitality management
  • Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong customer focus with demonstrated commitment to guest satisfaction
  • Revenue-oriented mindset with proven track record of achieving financial targets
  • Proficiency in restaurant management systems and point-of-sale (POS) technology
  • Solid understanding of food safety health codes and sanitation regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead train and motivate diverse teams in a fast-paced environment

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or related field
  • Certification in Food Safety and Sanitation (ServSafe or equivalent)
  • Experience coordinating large-scale banquet events and special functions
  • Proficiency with inventory management and budgeting software
  • Experience with labor scheduling and payroll systems
  • Knowledge of wine spirits and beverage cost management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
