Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing quality control activities across incoming in-process and final inspections to ensure compliance with company and customer quality standards. This role leads the quality inspection team manages audits and non-conformance handling and drives continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen quality performance safety culture and operational excellence.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of quality control inspectors
- Monitoring any inspection stages (incoming in-process and final) to ensure the compliance to quality requirements
- Identify and address deviations or non-conformities in the production process. This includes also for disposition tracking
- Perform perfections review as necessary.
- Support in E-router compliance
- Conducting regular audits of production lines or departments to ensure compliance with company standards
- Monitoring employee attendance and taking disciplinary action if necessary
- Monitoring and reporting on employee productivity to ensure that goals are being met
- Reviewing employee performance to determine whether they are meeting standards or making improvements needed to meet standards
- Stop Work/ Quality Concerns Culture Champion
- Managing projects involving a team of employees working on specific tasks towards common goals
- Evaluating potential hazards in the workplace and recommending solutions to unsafe conditions
- Engaging in Lean initiatives and AWO (Action Work Out) as part of continuous improvement
Required Qualifications
- Diploma degree (D3) with a major in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- At least 3-years experience on quality supervisor function working in relevant industry is preferred
- Having Experiences in welding inspection visual and dimensional inspections NDT Inspection (Penetrant & UT Thickness)
- Knowledge of Gas Turbine component will be advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and Quality Management System
- At least an intermediate English skill level (Writing Speaking)
- Experience in Lean Six Sigma would be advantageous (but not essential)
- Willing to stay in Bandung Indonesia
