Product Manager

Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client a leading global provider of cutting-edge technologies and innovative services.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate business requirements related to POS and EDC/Payment systems translating them into clear and actionable system specifications.
• Gather document and maintain business processes data flows and system integration requirements.
• Contribute to product and system roadmap definition in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering QA Operations Sales and customers to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Manage and support system enhancements new features and system integrations.
• Conduct gap analysis between existing system capabilities and new business or technical requirements.
• Support various testing activities including functional regression and integration testing to ensure solutions meet functional and technical specifications.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including process flow diagrams data mapping API specifications and ISO 8583 documentation.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide post-deployment support to resolve production issues and gather feedback for future product improvements.
• Maintain strong relationships and effective communication with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and successful solution delivery.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in POS EDC/Payment systems or related industries with strong exposure to transaction-based platforms.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and system design principles with the ability to bridge business and technical perspectives.
• Solid knowledge of POS products and the POS market/industry.
• Strong knowledge of API integration (REST/JSON) ISO 8583 messaging SQL databases and basic data modeling concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail when evaluating business and system requirements.
• Strong customer-centric and data-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Hands-on experience or a previous background in software engineering is a strong advantage.
• Proficient in product and project management tools such as Jira Figma Postman or similar platforms.
• Good communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Good product knowledge and awareness of product design and user experience (UX) principles.
