Procurement Supervisor
Job Summary
Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client a printing service company with a product portfolio that includes continuous inkjet and thermal inkjet and employs more than 3000 employees worldwide and experienced in the industry for more than 40 years.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead strategic sourcing activities including RFQ/RFP processes negotiations and supplier selection.
- Manage supplier performance through scorecards covering quality cost delivery and innovation.
- Drive cost optimization and value engineering initiatives with a minimum annual savings target of 10% of total spend.
- Ensure effective contract management and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor market trends supplier capabilities and potential supply risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational requirements.
- Develop procurement KPIs and prepare regular performance reports.
- Lead coach and develop the procurement team.
- Implement and maintain the Supplier Business Partner Code of Conduct.
- Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to ensure quality and compliance.
- Lead Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) initiatives to improve productivity and product quality.
- Handle procurement activities for production General Affairs MRO products services and CAPEX requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing.
- Experience managing direct indirect MRO and CAPEX procurement.
- Strong negotiation analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience conducting supplier audits and supplier performance evaluations.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS CPSM or Lean Six Sigma are preferred.
- Experience in developing MRO product strategies and procurement processes is highly advantageous.
