Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client a leading tire manufacturer in Indonesia. Founded in 1996 the company operates a factory near a mountainside in Citeureup Bogor covering 208000 sqm. They produce a range of high-performance passenger car radial tires light truck radial tires and truck and bus conventional tires. With a commitment to safety innovation creativity and customer orientation the company has successfully exported to over 90 countries and holds numerous certifications including ECE DOT and ISO 9001.
Job Requirements
Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a relevant engineering field. A master's degree is a plus.
Minimum 7–10 years of engineering experience in the manufacturing industry with at least 3–5 years in a management position.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical electrical utility and power distribution systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Proven experience in managing large cross-functional teams.
Ability to lead motivate teams and drive performance improvement.
Strong commitment to safety standards and safe work practices.
Capable of managing budgets and controlling costs.
Experienced in planning and supervising projects end-to-end (from inception to completion).
Proficient in engineering software and PLC systems.
Ability to innovate and drive continuous improvement in processes and technology.
Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
Able to work under pressure and willing to respond to emergency situations.
Good knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement management strategies for daily maintenance repairs and operations.
Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians to achieve peak performance.
Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance are carried out in a timely manner.
Manage electrical operations power distribution and instrumentation systems.
Monitor and supervise all heavy transport/lifting equipment to ensure operational readiness.
Oversee workshop operations repair processes and spare parts control.
Manage the development and maintenance of PLC software.
Responsible for spare parts control and inventory management.
Manage operating costs and maintain accountability for cost efficiency.
Oversee utilities such as boilers compressors and water treatment plants.
Identify and implement innovation initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth plant/factory operations.
Enforce safety policies and safe work practices.
Prepare reports and present performance results to senior management.
Ensure compliance with industry quality standards.
Manage employee development including training and performance evaluations.
Conduct root cause analysis for technical issues and implement solutions.
Collaborate in capacity planning and workload forecasting.
Organize and participate in regular strategic meetings with senior management.
Oversee internal and external audit processes related to engineering operations.
