The key purpose of the Part-Time Primary Art Teacher position is to inspire and develop students creativity artistic skills and self-expression through engaging and developmentally appropriate visual arts education. The teacher will deliver high-quality art lessons that encourage imagination exploration and confidence while supporting the schools vision and values. The role also contributes to fostering a positive classroom environment and enriching the wider school community through creative learning experiences and student showcases where appropriate.

• Creating Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver lessons that inspire and challenge all students and are in line with the schools curriculum policies and external assessment requirements. You will individualise and differentiate learning ensuring each student is stretched supported and makes outstanding progress.
• Supporting and Assessing Progress: Regularly assess students in-class and at-home learning providing targeted feedback to drive progress and ensure all students are challenged and supported in reaching their potential.
• Building a Positive Learning Environment: Establish a classroom and school environment where students are invested in each others flourishing feel valued and supported and are ready to take risks in their learning.
• Collaborating and Sharing Best Practices: Work closely with colleagues as an active member of our learning community sharing best practices collaborating with colleagues and dedicating yourself to your own professional development to ensure the highest standard of education for our students.
• Contributing to School Life: Play an active role in the schools co-curricular programme helping to create a well-rounded enriching educational experience. From leading clubs to contributing to whole school initiatives you will help shape the broader life of the school.

1. Relevant qualification in Education Fine Arts Visual Arts or a related field.

2. Minimum 3 years of experience teaching primary-aged students preferably in an international school environment.

3. Strong knowledge of age-appropriate art techniques creative processes and classroom activities for young learners.

4. Ability to create engaging student-centered and inclusive learning experiences.

5. Strong classroom management and communication skills.

6. Passion for nurturing creativity confidence and self-expression in children.

7. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues parents and school leadership.

8. Professional reliable flexible and committed to student wellbeing and safeguarding.

9. Good organizational and time-management skills.

10. Proficiency in spoken and written English is preferred.
