Midwife

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of expectant mothers identifying potential risks or complications and developing appropriate care plans
• Provide expert guidance and support to patients during pregnancy labor and postpartum recovery adhering to established protocols and best practices
• Monitor the progress of labor utilizing specialized equipment and techniques to ensure the safety of both the mother and baby
• Administer necessary medications and treatments as prescribed closely monitoring for any adverse reactions or side effects
• Perform emergency interventions such as neonatal resuscitation when required with utmost professionalism and composure
• Educate and counsel patients on various aspects of pregnancy childbirth and postpartum care promoting healthy practices and addressing concerns
• Collaborate effectively with obstetricians pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records ensuring proper documentation of patient information treatments and outcomes
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with the latest advancements and best practices in midwifery

Qualifications :

• Valid midwifery license or certification as required by local regulations
• Minimum 1 year of experience in maternal and newborn care (if applicable)
• Strong knowledge of antenatal intrapartum and postnatal care
• Proficiency in handling normal deliveries and recognizing obstetric emergencies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
• Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical medical practices
