Position Summary:
We are seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist - Warehouse Operations to manage daily warehouse and logistics activities ensuring the efficient receipt storage inventory control and distribution of materials and finished goods. This role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments maintaining inventory accuracy supporting customer delivery requirements and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to optimize warehouse operations cost efficiency and service performance.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate accountability agility collaboration and innovation while ensuring compliance with company policies safety standards and regulatory requirements in support of a technology company serving the Utilities & Energy sector.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations Management
Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving put-away storage picking packing and shipping activities.
Ensure optimal warehouse space utilization and adherence to safe material handling practices.
Coordinate third-party warehouse providers (3PLs) to meet service level expectations inventory accuracy targets and operational objectives.
Monitor warehouse performance metrics and implement corrective actions to improve productivity efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with company safety quality regulatory and operational standards.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement accountability and operational excellence.
Inventory Management & Control
Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts stock audits and inventory reconciliation activities.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and ensure timely resolution and adjustment of inventory records.
Monitor inventory levels to support production schedules customer demand and business continuity requirements.
Ensure the availability of critical materials while minimizing excess slow-moving and obsolete inventory.
Support inventory optimization initiatives that improve inventory accuracy turnover and supply chain performance.
Leverage data and analytics to identify inventory trends and improvement opportunities.
Logistics & Distribution Coordination
Plan schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments for internal and external customers.
Serve as the primary liaison between customers transportation providers freight forwarders and warehouse operations teams.
Proactively monitor shipment status resolve transportation issues and ensure timely product delivery.
Coordinate shipping documentation and ensure compliance with import/export regulations and corporate requirements.
Support transportation planning and execution activities to achieve customer service and operational objectives.
Build authentic and collaborative relationships with logistics partners and stakeholders to drive consistent service delivery.
Cost Management & Process Improvement
Control logistics and warehousing costs by evaluating shipment methods consolidating loads and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Analyze warehouse and logistics data to support inventory planning capacity utilization and operational decision-making.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on warehouse efficiency transportation performance and inventory accuracy.
Assist in developing and updating logistics procedures work instructions and operational standards.
Support innovative solutions that enhance supply chain visibility efficiency and customer outcomes.
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate closely with Production Procurement Customer Service Planning Sales and Supply Chain teams to support business objectives.
Provide logistics inventory and operational performance reporting to management and stakeholders.
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve logistics-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
Promote strong cross-functional collaboration and alignment across internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Industrial Engineering Business Administration or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations logistics or supply chain management preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) ERP platforms and inventory management processes.
Experience coordinating transportation providers freight forwarders and third-party logistics (3PL) partners.
Technical & Functional Skills:
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations inventory control logistics and distribution processes.
Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle preferred) Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
Understanding of import/export processes shipping documentation customs requirements and transportation regulations.
Experience managing inventory controls stock audits and warehouse performance metrics.
Ability to analyze operational data and make data-driven decisions.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
Knowledge of international logistics customs compliance and global transportation processes.
Certified Customs Expert (Ahli Kepabeanan) certification preferred.
Valid Dangerous Goods (DG) Certification preferred.
Experience supporting multinational manufacturing or technology organizations.
Familiarity with supply chain analytics KPI reporting and continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience with process optimization cost reduction initiatives and operational excellence programs.
Ability to identify and implement innovative solutions that improve warehouse and logistics performance.
Language Requirements:
Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia (written and verbal).
Working proficiency in English particularly for documentation reporting and communication with global stakeholders.
Work Model: On-site.
This position is based full-time at our Cikarang Indonesia site. Employees are expected to work on-site to support warehouse operations logistics coordination inventory management activities and collaboration with cross-functional teams. On-site presence is required to meet business operational and customer service requirements.
