Legal Counsel APAC

Location: Tangerang Indonesia

At Flora Food Group every contract and decision shapes how we bring better food to more tables. We operate across a complex multi-market APAC region and great food brands need sharp legal minds to keep them moving. With a change in our regional legal team we are looking for a Legal Counsel to take ownership of legal matters across Indonesia Australia Malaysia Sri Lanka Pakistan India and Thailand. This is a role where your legal expertise will directly shape how a global food company operates across diverse markets.

Within 12 months you will have built trusted relationships with General Managers across the APAC region and established yourself as a reliable legal partner for the business. You will have navigated multi-jurisdictional legal matters with confidence enabling faster and better-informed commercial decisions. Your work will reduce legal risk and give the business the clarity it needs to move at pace.

You will work closely with regional General Managers Procurement Supply Chain Marketing Salesand compliance colleagues to ensure decisions are made responsibly and with full awareness of local regulatory requirements. You will bring consistency and governance to a fragmented region building legal frameworks that protect the business and its people. Your approach will be collaborative adapting to different management styles and cultural contexts across APAC.

• Deliver practical timely legal advice across multiple APAC markets covering commercial contracts regulatory compliance and business operations.
• Build strong working relationships with General Managers and senior stakeholders across APAC region.
• Enable the business to move quickly by translating complex legal requirements into clear actionable guidance.
• Champion legal best practices and governance standards across a diverse multi-jurisdictional region.
• Accelerate your own development by taking on broad international exposure across a global FMCG organization with a lean high-impact legal team.

• Law degree & experience in commercial law ideally within FMCG or a multinational environment.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex contracts across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong business acumen and confidence in advising senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness to work effectively across diverse teams.
