Lead Mechanical Engineer
Job Summary
The Lead Mechanical Engineer is responsible for leading the mechanical construction management coordination inspection and commissioning-readiness activities for the assigned DSCO data center project site.
The role ensures that all mechanical systems are properly coordinated installed inspected tested documented and prepared for commissioning and operational readiness. This includes cooling systems plantrooms pipework pumps chillers CRAH/CRAC units ventilation drainage containment interfaces builders work requirements controls interfaces and mechanical testing prerequisites.
For the DSCO program this role is critical because cooling is a capacity reliability maintainability and commissioning issue. The SJ proposal states that cooling infrastructure competes for shafts corridors roof zones service yards and plantroom space with power fire protection and structural systems requiring strong mechanical coordination from early construction through commissioning.
