Junior Trader
Job Summary
- Manage the commercial activities of the Refined Glycerin business to achieve sales profitability and customer satisfaction targets.
- Coordinate with global sales teams on volume allocation sales plans and commercial strategies.
- Monitor market trends pricing movements and business performance to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and analyze commercial reports including sales performance market updates trading positions and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate contract management and compliance with agreed commercial terms.
- Collaborate with Operations PPIC Logistics and Freight teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipment execution.
- Support freight planning and customer delivery schedules to ensure on-time performance.
- Resolve commercial issues proactively and provide excellent customer support.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and contribute to business growth initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Business Management International Business Marketing Supply Chain Economics or related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in commodities trading export business FMCG food industry or related sectors.
- Experience in containerized export operations is preferred.
- Exposure to palm oil oleochemicals glycerin or related commodity industries will be an advantage.
- Strong English communication skills; Mandarin is an advantage.
- Strong commercial acumen analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends pricing profitability and P&L peformance.
- Excellent stakeholder management communication and negotiation skills.
- Proactive results-oriented and able to work with cross-functional and global teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications (Power BI AI tools or Microsoft Copilot)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced trading environment.
