Junior Trader

• Manage the commercial activities of the Refined Glycerin business to achieve sales profitability and customer satisfaction targets.
• Coordinate with global sales teams on volume allocation sales plans and commercial strategies.
• Monitor market trends pricing movements and business performance to identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare and analyze commercial reports including sales performance market updates trading positions and profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate contract management and compliance with agreed commercial terms.
• Collaborate with Operations PPIC Logistics and Freight teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipment execution.
• Support freight planning and customer delivery schedules to ensure on-time performance.
• Resolve commercial issues proactively and provide excellent customer support.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and contribute to business growth initiatives.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree in Business Management International Business Marketing Supply Chain Economics or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in commodities trading export business FMCG food industry or related sectors.
• Experience in containerized export operations is preferred.
• Exposure to palm oil oleochemicals glycerin or related commodity industries will be an advantage.
• Strong English communication skills; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Strong commercial acumen analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends pricing profitability and P&L peformance.
• Excellent stakeholder management communication and negotiation skills.
• Proactive results-oriented and able to work with cross-functional and global teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications (Power BI AI tools or Microsoft Copilot)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced trading environment.
