Finance Data & Systems Manager Fintech and Financial Services

Our client is a leading e-commerce platform and digital financial ecosystem in Southeast Asia operating in four major countries: Indonesia Philippines Vietnam and Malaysia. It provides credit loans payment and digital banking solutions. Nowadays the client is known to be a fintech unicorn company that provides consumer credit digital banking wealth management and insurance brokerage services.

Job Role:

The Finance Data & Systems Manager will act as the bridge between Finance and Data Analytics translating complex analytical findings into clear financial insights that support decision-making across corporate and top management levels.

This role will be responsible for analyzing financial data improving data workflows and supporting ERP or accounting systems implementation. The ideal candidate is a finance professional with strong data proficiency analytical ability and understanding of system processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data and develop dashboards or reports to support management decision-making.
• Perform SQL queries and data processing to ensure accurate and timely financial analysis.
• Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to support ERP and accounting system implementation enhancements and troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate data workflows ensuring integrity and compliance with accounting standards.
• Transform analytical findings into actionable financial insights for Finance Corporate and the Head of Division.
• Present key insights and reports to top management to guide strategic financial planning and operational decisions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes reporting efficiency and data integration.

Candidate Requirements:

• Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in financial analysis or finance systems management (managerial or strategic level) in the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Proven ability to work across finance and data functions to produce actionable insights.
• Technical & Analytical Expertise:
  • Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems accounting software or financial automation tools.
  • Knowledge of data visualization and dashboard tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau or similar).
• Professional Skills:
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and presentation abilities.
  • Effective communicator who can translate data into business implications.
  • High attention to detail and process accuracy.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
