Engineering Duty Engineer

This position is to assist the Chief Engineer during daily operation within Engineering department:

To ensure seamless 24/7 operation of all hotel MEP utilities and systems during the assigned shift. The goal: guests never feel any disruption to electricity AC hot water elevators etc. The Duty Engineer is the pilot of the hotel during nights weekends and holidays - the first decision-maker for any emergency or breakdown.

What you will be doing:

• Techanical Engineering Operation

• Monitoring: Conduct BMS panel rounds every 2 hours for electricity HVAC chillers boilers generators pumps elevators WTP/STP. Log all reading

• Shift Preventive Maintenance: Execute minor PMs per shift schedule: AHU filter changes generator oil checks emergency light tests cooling tower flushing
• Breakdown Response: Respond <5 mins for power failure AC down no water stuck elevator. Perform isolation bypass or generator startup per SOP
• Energy Management: Control electrical load during peak demand. Adjust AC setpoints for public areas at night to save energy without affecting guest comfort
• Safety & Compliance: Test fire alarms smoke detectors sprinkler zones per schedule. Enforce LOTO during work. Check for gas/refrigerant leaks.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 2-3 years previous experience within similar role as Engineering Supervisor and or Duty Engineer
• Good communications skills both written and verbal in Bahasa Indonesia and English
• Good knowledge of Mechanical Electrical and Civil work or HVAC Kitchen and Laundry
• Working experience in 5* hotel operation is highly regarded
