Job Summary
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC plumbing electrical and mechanical systems.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure the hotel premises including guest rooms public areas and back-of-house spaces are in good working order.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities repairs and equipment performance.
- Support the implementation of the preventive maintenance schedule.
- Monitor energy usage and assist in energy conservation initiatives.
- Respond to emergencies such as power failures equipment breakdowns and safety hazards.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and servicing.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental standards and policies.
- Assist in supervising maintenance staff or technicians if required during shifts.
- Participate in shift rotations including nights weekends and holidays.
Qualifications :
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
- Minimum 23 years of experience in a similar role preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Good knowledge of building systems (electrical HVAC plumbing fire safety).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency situations.
