Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client an architecture and design firm based in Bali Indonesia specializing in creating innovative and sustainable structures that focus on using natural materials to build a variety of spaces from homes and hotels to schools and event venues.

Job Responsibilities

Looking for a Design Operations Manager to oversee operational performance quality control project coordination resource planning and team management within a design-driven organization. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered efficiently teams remain aligned and accountable and operational processes support consistent high-quality outcomes. The position serves as a key link between leadership project teams and clients.

• Establish implement and continuously improve workflows operational procedures and delivery standards.
• Ensure consistent adherence to internal processes and project requirements.
• Manage team capacity staffing allocation and workload distribution across multiple projects.
• Define clear ownership responsibilities and accountability within project teams.
• Monitor project timelines milestones and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Track project progress and identify potential delays resource constraints or scheduling conflicts.
• Maintain quality control procedures and oversee review and revision processes.
• Coordinate communication between project teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Identify operational risks workflow bottlenecks and project challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Monitor team performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage operational communication with clients regarding project schedules deliverables and expectations.
• Ensure alignment between client requirements and internal project execution plans.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership or management role overseeing team performance and project delivery.
• Strong English communication skills both written and verbal.
• Comprehensive understanding of design and project delivery processes from concept development through documentation.
• Able to review navigate and work directly within Revit models
• Proven experience implementing and managing operational procedures workflows and process improvements.
• Experience in resource planning staffing allocation and workload management.
• Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to identify risks proactively and resolve scheduling or operational challenges.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams providing feedback and fostering accountability.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
