Job Summary

Reporting to the Executive Chef the Culinary Coordinator plays an essential role in supporting the smooth and efficient administration of the Culinary Department. This position provides comprehensive coordination and administrative support to the Executive Chef and culinary leadership team ensuring effective communication accurate documentation and seamless day-to-day departmental operations.

The Culinary Coordinator is responsible for coordinating culinary meetings reports purchase and administrative documentation and other departmental requirements. Working closely with culinary leaders and internal departments the role supports the timely flow of information and ensures that departmental records and processes are maintained accurately and in line with hotel standards.

With strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment the Culinary Coordinator contributes to the efficiency of the culinary operation and supports the team in delivering the exceptional standards and memorable dining experiences.


Qualifications :

  • Education: A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management Culinary Arts Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
     
  • Experience: Previous experience in a culinary coordination administrative or operational support role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Experience in a five-star luxury hotel or international hospitality environment will be an advantage.
     
  • Culinary Operations Knowledge: A good understanding of culinary operations kitchen administration and departmental processes with the ability to effectively support the Executive Chef and culinary leadership team.
     
  • Administrative and Coordination Skills: Strong administrative and organizational capabilities with experience in preparing reports managing documentation coordinating schedules and meetings and maintaining accurate departmental records.
     
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with culinary colleagues hotel departments suppliers and other relevant stakeholders.
     
  • Attention to Detail and Organization: Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced operational environment.
     
  • Professionalism and Discretion: Demonstrates a high level of professionalism integrity and discretion when handling departmental and confidential information.
     
  • Multicultural Awareness: Comfortable working in a diverse and multicultural environment with an appreciation for different cultures and the ability to build positive working relationships across teams.
     
  • Technological Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications particularly Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook. Familiarity with hotel systems and culinary or procurement-related platforms will be an advantage.
