Our client is a well-established hospitality group operating a portfolio of luxury resort boutique hotel and hostel properties in Ubud Bali. The group has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality hospitality experiences to international leisure travelers wellness seekers couples and other tourism segments.

With an established flagship property and additional properties undergoing development and expansion the group is entering an important growth phase that requires stronger corporate-level operational governance revenue optimization and consistent service standards across its portfolio.

The organization operates with a strong focus on operational autonomy financial discipline service quality and long-term sustainable growth. As the portfolio expands the group is seeking an experienced hospitality leader to oversee its multi-property operations and ensure consistent commercial and operational performance.


Job Role

The Corporate General Manager will lead the overall operations service quality people management and commercial performance across the groups hospitality portfolio in Bali.

Reporting directly to the owners this role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational management. The successful candidate will oversee multiple properties drive revenue performance implement and enforce operational SOPs support pre-opening activities and ensure consistent hospitality standards across different property concepts.

This position requires a decisive and highly accountable hospitality leader who is comfortable leading from the front managing senior department heads resolving operational challenges directly and balancing guest experience employee performance revenue generation and operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day operations across multiple hospitality properties ensuring consistent service quality and operational standards.
  • Drive pre-opening readiness staffing coordination workflow development and operational setup for new properties.
  • Take overall responsibility for property revenue performance occupancy GOP and yield optimization while protecting room rates and brand positioning.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets in coordination with ownership and ensure effective cost control.
  • Establish implement audit and continuously improve SOPs across front office housekeeping F&B maintenance guest experience and other operational functions.
  • Lead and manage department heads and a workforce of 200 employees across multiple properties.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through clear accountability staff development performance evaluation and effective cross-property coordination.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks resolve service issues and implement practical solutions to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong relationships with owners while providing regular updates on operational performance revenue staffing and strategic priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with hospitality standards internal policies and applicable operational requirements.
  • Lead by example and maintain a visible management presence across properties particularly during periods of high occupancy and operational pressure.


Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelors Degree (S1) in Hospitality Management Hotel Administration Business Management or a related field.
  • Minimum 810 years of progressive hospitality leadership experience including at least 35 years as a General Manager overseeing hotels resorts boutique properties or multi-property operations.
  • Proven experience managing pre-opening activities hotel launches or multi-property operations preferably within Balis hospitality market.
  • Strong understanding of revenue management yield optimization occupancy strategy budgeting and cost control without excessive reliance on discounting.
  • Proven expertise in SOP development operational audits quality control guest experience management and service recovery.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage senior department heads and large hospitality teams while maintaining clear accountability and operational discipline.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to make difficult decisions resolve operational issues and lead from the front.
  • High emotional intelligence and strong understanding of Balinese hospitality culture and local workforce dynamics.
  • Resilient adaptable decisive and comfortable operating in a fast-paced high-occupancy multi-property environment.
  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset with the ability to balance guest satisfaction revenue performance service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Professional fluency in English.
  • Balinese native/local candidates with strong knowledge of the Bali hospitality market are strongly preferred.
