Construction Superintendent

WORK DESCRIPTION
• Supervise daily field construction activities across assigned work packages ensuring work is executed per drawings and specifications
• Direct subcontractor crews and construction personnel on-site allocating manpower and
equipment to meet schedule targets
• Monitor construction progress against the project schedule and escalate delays or resource gaps to the Construction Manager
• Enforce HSE standards and permit-to-work procedures on-site conducting toolbox talks and safety inspections
• Coordinate with quality control personnel to ensure work meets required inspection and testing standards
• Track daily productivity manpower and equipment utilization and report progress to the
Construction Manager
• Resolve on-site construction issues and coordinate with engineering for clarifications or drawing revisions
• Support materials and equipment tracking to ensure availability for ongoing work fronts

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or Field Supervisor with prior exposure to mining or heavy industrial projects
• Strong field supervision skills with a proven ability to manage multiple subcontractor crews
• Working knowledge of construction scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera P6) and daily progress reporting
• Solid understanding of HSE standards and permit-to-work systems in remote mine-site
environments
• Willing to be placed at a remote mine site and follow a roster-based work schedule
• Strong hands-on leadership problem-solving and coordination skills
