The group operates multiple manufacturing facilities across Indonesia and has developed a growing multi-entity business structure supported by local management teams Chinese expatriate executives and international procurement and supply chain operations.
With continued business expansion and the development of additional manufacturing facilities the group is strengthening its centralized corporate management structure to improve financial consolidation reporting consistency internal controls and executive-level financial decision-making across all operating entities.
Job Role
The Group Finance Manager (Mandarin Speaker) is a senior financial management position responsible for overseeing financial consolidation reporting performance analysis cash flow management and financial controls across multiple subsidiaries and manufacturing facilities.
Reporting directly to the Group Owner this role will serve as the central financial controller for the Group working closely with subsidiary accounting heads finance teams tax functions and Chinese procurement and supply chain stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned finance and accounting professional with strong experience in manufacturing environments multi-entity financial consolidation cost and profitability analysis and group-level financial controls. Fluent Mandarin Chinese is essential for direct communication with the Group Owner and Chinese stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the consolidation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements across subsidiaries manufacturing plants and trading entities.
- Standardize accounting policies chart of accounts financial reporting formats and internal financial controls across business units.
- Monitor entity-level financial performance manufacturing costs gross margins operating expenses and profitability.
- Prepare financial analysis management reports budget monitoring and variance analysis for the Group Owner.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business and investment decisions.
- Monitor cash flow working capital inventory valuation intercompany transactions and capital allocation across the Group.
- Review import financing procurement-related financial activities and financial implications of new manufacturing investments.
- Oversee and coordinate with accounting heads across multiple entities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Strengthen internal control systems to minimize financial discrepancies improve financial discipline and optimize cash flow.
- Coordinate tax compliance external audits financial reviews and audit readiness across operating entities.
- Identify financial risks and provide recommendations to management regarding cost control profitability improvement and operational efficiency.
- Communicate financial performance budgeting cost analysis and financial risks directly to the Group Owner and relevant Chinese stakeholders.
- Collaborate with procurement supply chain operations tax and management teams to ensure effective financial control across the Group.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum Bachelors Degree (S1) in Finance Accounting Fiscal Management or a related field.
- CPA CA or equivalent professional accounting certification is an advantage.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive Finance & Accounting experience with at least 3 years in a managerial or group-level finance position.
- Proven experience managing financial operations across multiple entities manufacturing sites or a holding company structure.
- Strong background in manufacturing finance including cost accounting P&L analysis inventory valuation gross margin and profitability analysis.
- Hands-on experience in financial consolidation management reporting budgeting cash flow management and financial controls.
- Proven ability to standardize accounting policies reporting systems and internal controls across multiple business units.
- Experience overseeing accounting or finance heads across subsidiaries or manufacturing facilities.
- Strong understanding of Indonesian accounting standards taxation audit processes and financial compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP financial systems and advanced financial reporting and analysis tools.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and executive reporting capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex financial information into practical business recommendations.
- Fluent Mandarin Chinese proficiency both spoken and written is mandatory for direct communication with Group leadership and Chinese stakeholders.
- Professional fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- High integrity strong attention to detail commercial awareness and strong ownership of financial responsibilities.
