Banquet Supervisor

• Supervise banquet operations before during and after events
• Lead brief coach and motivate the banquet team
• Ensure seamless execution of meetings weddings conferences and social events
• Coordinate event setups room layouts table arrangements equipment and service requirements
• Ensure all events are delivered in line with Novotel service standards
• Coordinate closely with Culinary Events Stewarding and other hotel departments
• Monitor food and beverage service presentation timing and quality
• Welcome guests and respond promptly to requests concerns and special requirements
• Conduct pre-event briefings and communicate event details VIP requirements and special arrangements
• Monitor team grooming service etiquette cleanliness and professional standards
• Coach and develop team members through on-the-job training and constructive feedback
• Monitor banquet equipment and inventory and report shortages damages or maintenance requirements
• Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene health and safety standards

Qualifications :

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management Hotel Management or a related field
• Minimum 23 years of supervisory experience in banquet operations preferably within a 5 star hotel
• Strong knowledge of banquet service event operations and food and beverage standards
• Proven ability to lead coach and motivate a diverse team
• Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong guest service orientation with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to manage multiple events and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Good knowledge of food safety hygiene and health and safety standards
