The Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting the development and rollout of Prudentials regional partnership platform PruPartnerships. This role focuses on translating complex business needs from internal stakeholders and external bancassurance partners into clear scalable and auditable requirements. Working across multiple markets the Business Analyst will drive structured requirement discovery validation and documentation while balancing partner customisation needs with platform standardisation. The role requires strong stakeholder management analytical thinking and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous multi-country environments.

The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating cross-functional teams regulatory considerations and evolving product requirements and can produce high-quality outputs that support both delivery teams and governance processes.

Job Description

  • Gather analyze and document comprehensive business requirements from stakeholders for the development of new and enhanced applications.

  • Translate business needs into clear concise and actionable functional and non-functional specifications user stories and use cases using Jira and Confluence.

  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with various business units IT teams and vendor partners to elicit and validate requirements.

  • Collaborate closely with product owners UI/UX designers developers and QA engineers throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Define and document user flows process maps and data models.

  • Conduct gap analysis between current and future state processes and systems.

  • Support the creation of test plans and user acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios and assist in coordinating UAT activities.

  • Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical development teams ensuring effective communication and understanding of requirements and solutions.

  • Participate in backlog grooming sprint planning and daily stand-up meetings.

  • Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks and issues related to requirements and scope.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis processes and methodologies.

Job Qualifications

  • 36 years of experience as a Business Analyst Product Analyst or similar role

  • Experience in financial services insurance or bancassurance preferred

  • Exposure to multi-country or regional projects is a strong advantage

  • Education level:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems Computer Science or related field

  • Structured thinker with strong attention to detail

  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and evolving requirements

  • Strong communication skills across business and technical audiences

  • Proactive and ownership-driven

  • Agile delivery

  • Requirement discovery & structuring

  • Stakeholder management

  • Data & systems thinking to work with data models and attributes

  • Ability to work with tools such as Figma Figjam Atlassian Suite (jira confluence)

  • Ability to produce process flows functional specifications user stories

  • Financial/Insurance domain knowledge familiarity with insurance products and distribution channels a plus

  • Multi-market thinking in product development; identifying reusability opportunities

  • Governance & compliance awareness in understanding data sensitivity regulatory constraints and audit requirements
