Job Summary
Job Purpose and Impact
Zonal Operations Incharge is a key role for Agriculture & Trading India requiring to oversee end to end Operations for respective Zone including Commodity management Warehouse Transportation Transaction data management and comply with procedures to ensure business objectives are delivered efficiently. The role requires very good understanding of commodity & warehouse operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Implement EHS & FSQR standards & requirements and ensure compliance
- Oversee Operations are performed inline with SLA and own full accountability of Inventory Quality Quantity & process Compliance
- Co-ordinate with WSPs and share warehouse offer with commercial team. Upon confirmation from commercial team complete contracting process and operationalize (Documentation / Registration / Resource engagement)
- Comply with quality sampling and analysis process and ensure Quality Specifications of inward commodity is within agreed specifications. Address deviations in co-ordination with commercial. Ensure details updated per contract terms in records.
- Ensure all transaction data entries of Warehouse and commodity movements are updated in the system within TAT in coordination with MIS WSP Fin Ops & Commercial Team.
- Ensure Commodity is well managed during storage and shrinkage is within agreed tolerance. Conduct CHR timely and take actions in case of abnormal findings. Conduct periodic Inspection at warehouse.
- Facilitate commodity dispatch in co-ordination with commercial & Fin Operations and comply with process requirements.
- Ensure data collection compilation & update in system and MIS reports are shared in compliance to agreed timeline
- Appoint H&T and Surveyor timely as per business needs Port/Railcar/Warehouse Operations. Ensure compliance to process during operation including Rake Import Export and B2B. Work closely with Execution Manager for resource alignment/support.
- Support monthly financial reporting/recon process by making relevant data/docs available on time.
- Co-ordinate with GTA team & initiate Crop Survey as per plan. Reporting and documentation of all the data correctly to GTA
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree with minimum 5 years of extensive experience in Warehouse fulfillment contracting commodity management & Port Operations across India.
- Good understanding of Agriculture commodity industry & standard in local market.
